In the mountain village of Raftis in Arcadia, digital nomads and remote workers lived and worked remotely for fifteen days as part of the action “Remote in the Peloponnese” by WORKFROMGREECE.GR and Tursi Digital Nomads.

From September 6 to 20, 13 digital nomads and remote professionals, from Europe and America, enjoyed the daily life of a small village in Greece while working, while at the same time having the opportunity to get to know the destination through a series of experiential experiences.

They explored traditional villages such as Dimitsana and Stemnitsa, took cooking classes with local recipes, hiked on the trails of Mainalo and rafted on the Lousios River, they discovered the culinary traditions of the region through wine tasting and visits to local businesses and visited important monuments and museums in the area.

At the same time, at the “Meet the Locals” event organized on September 18 at Dimitra’s Resort, digital nomads spoke with representatives of local government and local organizations about the prospects for further development of the region as a digital nomad destination.
